In the runup to release, the studio did some really cool advertising around Chicago (as in probably other cities). Some Chicago bus stops had enormous signs that said "For humans only." They had a lot of such signs around the city. My speciesism self loved it.

One of my favorite sci-fi movies. A bit lower down on the list, but still great, is a film called Blade Runner, which TS should check out if he hasn't already.

What are these "movies" of which you speak? Is it similar to marionette theater?

I'm glad they included that scene where the human lead is wildly cackling in front of the burning alien babies, otherwise I would never have gotten the deep social commentary.
