Our man Manton quoted in the Times

The story is borderline lame. It's the usual why do men wear dark suits in 100-degree temps while women go nearly naked. Wow, I enjoyed typing those last four words. The story has some good history, though. And, hey, Manton's become the go-to guy for the menswear quote!

Nice. I like how, thanks to Manton, the article ended on a solidly conservative note.

I thought the article was pretty funny, btw, in a dry way.

Gawker.com posted an old photo of Mr. Bloomberg in shorts with readers' comments like "What can brown do for you?" and "Mikey is escorted to his first day of school by gigantic lesbian bodyguards."

Men are ugly when naked or partially clothed. Women are not. That's what it all comes down to. Please cover ugly shit up with clothes. I for one don't want to have to look at some 50 year old guy's hairy legs in the boardroom.

It's good to see Michael get even more exposure. I'm looking forward to his next book.
