sstomcat- yep i made them! :) made the uppers, lasted, and bottomed them. i'll take some close up pictures and post them!

its calf, hair on hide. loafers are the hair on hide with calf tassels and piping, the euro calf full brogue wingtip, the only colored only are hair on hide calf/calf and shark where the laces are, the next loafers are hair on hide calf in the front with shark in back, and then the wingtip loafer is the euro calf and hair on hide calf with euro calf tassels. i will post more pictures now.

 

i made the shoes for a collaboration with a designer at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago for his senior fashion show, his name is Daniel Nelson. He wanted traditional men's dress shoes with a twist and a little play on texture-then he requested one with green as well!

an austrian rtw brand, ludwig reiter, had some sneakers with hair on hide in their collection several years ago. iirc, it was pony and calf. unfortunately, i didn't pull the trigger, anyway.

i wish this collaboration a lot of success and good luck.

looking forward to the pictures. everything sounds refreshing and i'm always to catch with a twist.
