LUMIX G2 - Recs and alternatives?

I'm interested in getting a digital cam. I don't like the bulk of a full DSLR, and like the idea of the 4/3s. Not looking to get into anything close to professional. Just something to take with me to take random "lifestyle" photos and on trips.

Anyone have the G2 or GH1? Any other recs in the price range of $800 (nothing more, preferably less)? Has to have viewfinder and flash. I also like the fact the G2 comes with HD video, so the G1 (assuming it's still stocked) is out.

Ended up buying the G2. Great camera. Good size and handling - like a DSLR, but less bulky, and with the separate pancake lens I picked up for it, something I'd be willing to carry around. Definitely not close to being pocketable.

Great choice. I'm in love with the 20mm f/1.7.

G2 is really nice, I was very impressed by it in the store. If you don't need the VF, the GF1 is a nice alternative. If you want something even lighter and smaller, the Olympus E-PL1 is good as well. I bought the PL1 for my nephew and I have a GF1 for myself.
