Avoiding stains

Question: is there a substance one can use on cotton that will help prevent stains?

I'm talking frequently washed items. I know there are stain repellents, but they are typically for items one does not wash after each use.

Thank you for any suggestions,

Fabienne

I have to look into that. I can't wear khakis in the city for more than an hour or two before they get something on them from somewhere.

I can relate. I have a pair of yellow Incotex pants that get a stain on them every single time I wear them. I think the sartorial gods are telling me something.

This sounds promising. Have you used their products?

My main use would be for my son's cotton polo shirts, which have to be embroidered with the school's name and logo: it would get expensive if I had to replace irremediably stained shirts, not to mention that are not easy to replace. White polo shirt, 3 year old boy...

My wife puts it on all her Chanel, Chole, Prada purses and boots and shoes. She puts it on all my ties. Works wonders.

Sounds great. Vectra has a website, do you order online, or where do you get it?

Do I understand you have not used it on items that require frequent washing, then?
