So... huh? What's the point? How did these people get a clothing company with a website? Their stuff is so unbelievably dull. Is it an elaborate joke? Am I out of the loop? I'm the boss.. need the info....

its hard to start a clothing company when all the real manufacturer's have 800 piece minimum orders...that's where huh (have you heard?) comes in. t-shirt minimum orders are like 20-40, total. which means that you and your friends can start a clothing "company" for like $1000 and still have the time and money left over to smoke a bunch of weed before you work out the concept of your "company" I hope this isn't an elaborate joke by J, unknown proprieter of HUH...

And sometimes the order minimum is for one colour which means that you have to have some bank to even put out a single, capsule, collection.

That's a good one. That is not a charity or a hobby. If they made a company that expects to sell their wares, they need to expect criticism from their target buyers. The point of this site is to critique and no one is above it.

Dude, the designs are dull and uninspired, no matter the age group of the designers. Some college guys, with no formal fashion training, have done really well (see the guys in Trovata, for instance) even making an international reputation for themselves. This was part luck, but also part vision. If you are going to put yourself out there, expect some criticism. It serves no-one to just say "Well, nice effort." What's your issue anyway? Are you one of the designers dad or something? If the guys at HUH clothing want to defend themselves, they are welcome to.

i look at their street team page and assume that those are the kids involved with the making of this stuff, and while i agree with you guys that its not very good, finding them and and criticising them here isnt really suitable. we arent their target market, their little friends are their target market. the little skateboard buddies are their market, not fashion guru's such as some of the people on here (and i dont say guru in a disrespectful way)

no i am not a parent of one of them, im just 22 myself. but you can find the work of any 14-17 yearold and id put my money that it will look amature and uninspired. they probably just think its cool to wear their own logo, even though it sucks, of their own "company" even though the name isnt any good.

and i personally went through an art program for a bit, and i hated when people didnt tell me what they really thought in a critique. i agree nice-effort is no help to anyone, but i also disagree that "unbelievably dull", "elaborate joke", and "uninspired" are proper ways to criticise a "company" made up of kids that skateboard.

'Street team' means that HUH sponsors those kids. I doubt that they are actually involved in the design in any way.

if thats the case. and its not the way i'm assuming it is, than ill agree entirely with you guys.

however, i maintian that its a group of kids, because its the same thing i did with my friends, its the same thing other kids i knew did when i used to bmx.

Well if the 'street team' is young, then I would think that the owners of the company are probably fairly young as well - under 22 or so, so everyone's probably right about that.
