Guy Stealing my Trash at 4AM

So there is this guy that comes to my house, opens my gate, and goes into my side yard 2 times in the last week to rummage through my trash between the hours of 3 and 5AM to take the bottles and cans. Today I was awoke by the sounds of clanking bottles in my trash can at 4AM, walked down my stairs to the side of my house and told him to get the fuck out, he just looked at me with a bewildered expression on his face and exclaimed, "CANS!" as he pointed into my trash can before he started digging around again. I then grabbed the bin from his hands and told him, "leave or I am gonna call the cops" before he mumbled somthing incoherent and left. I then tried to go back to sleep but could not because he was now going through a dumpster at a nearby apartment complex. What is the best way to deal with this? Please no hate/

Place all the recyclable cans in a separate, transparent bag and leave it outside your gate with a little post-it note.

You are perfectly within your rights as a citizen to murder this man.
And he is probably homeless, so who would care?

Seperate your recyclables and leave them by the gate entrance.

I have thought of this, but I already recycle and he goes through both my trash and recycling to see if maybe I forgot a can or two. Also my trashcan is now really dirty because he cuts all the bags of waste open to search them before throwing the back in the container.

find a castle in a part of england that is still has a white majority , make sure to hire a tree trimmer that speaks the queen´s english( they maybe more common) two probelms solved you can keep people away from your home by keep ing it behind the walls and hopefully your tree will hae the shape you want. The interns might be more respectful in england as well

but your problem of being unfairly charged at club for being male cannot be solved.
