Check out this parking system in Budapest.

I wish there were more of these in major US cities.

Would be the perfect infrastructure project to create jobs, but it would somehow balloon into a $72 trillion dollar monster and would only end up creating 11 extra parking spots in Wyoming.

There's on in Hoboken, NJ, I think, and I heard a lot of complaints. Probably another system/supplier though

My observations: 1. Very cool! 2. Another example of German's engineering stuff just because they can. 3. I would do her.

This is absolutely amazing: I had no idea about this and I'm moving to Budapest next year. Shame I can't drive though. From what I remember however, that is a fairly busy area of the city, I'm fairly sure it would get clogged up during busy times.

I remember one of the first companies to develop these parking puzzle systems several years ago was Israeli - forgot the name.
