Stickers On the Apples and Tomatoes

How nice they form covalent bonds with the produce. Removal is annoying as hell. Bastards.

I've read that the stickers will soon be replaced with burned info on the skin. I don't notice any trouble with removal though, the adhesive tends to be very weak and peels off clean.

They are weak on the product, but strong on my floor and counter. Brining it on cant come soon enough.

I absolutely hate them. I put all my fruit into a bowl on the kitchen island and always try to take the stickers off. The nectarines are the worst.

Yeah, they were talking about LASER branding fruit a few years ago, but I have a fundamental problem with that as well - it reminds me loosely of Michael Crichton's book Next.

Don't you peel apples and tomatoes anyway?

I don't. I love a good crisp apple peel.

Most of the time, no.

Why not just eat them? High in fiberous paper and essential adhesives.

Same here. I like biting into an apple.

Many nutrients of an apple are in the skin so peeling is not recommended.
