I just broke up with my girlfriend of two years, who I love very dearly. Now that I'm back home and taking some "me" time....I have the strong urge to buy something!!

Do I fight this urge or just buy something for myself???

Just buy something! Good clothes are much more satisfying and much less hassle than women and are often with you a lot longer.

Don't buy anything expensive. Alcohol and junk food should suffice. Watch a lot of comedies (not the romantic kind).

Get used to it and move on. If a shopping spree comforts you and you can afford it, then get on with it and do not trouble the world further.

I agree with the others. Dont buy anything expensive just for the hell of it. It will make you feel better for a little bit. The pain will still be there, you're just putting it off. My advice, just keep busy man, i.e. workout, travel somewhere. Sorry to hear about that.
