Naming a house

Thread Starter
We have decided that our new house needs a name. Even though we are not rich, nor is this place a mansion I want a name regardless. Naming it after us is out. And the Historic Preservation method of the 'most important people who lived there' is also out. So we need a name like:

The Breakers
The Biltmore
Goldeneye (Ian Flemming place)
Sagamore
Mt. Vernon
(Whatever the name of the House was in the Great Gatsby - Does anyone know? I couldnt find it)

Thoughts?

Aren't most houses named after some distinguishing feature of the property? Say, Whispering Oaks or Tres Rios or Buried Ex-Wife.

Something like that?

My dream house, when/if I get it built, will be titled, "Vineyards' End." Plan to kill a lot of bottles

So, maybe pick a defining hobby or passion you and your wife share?
