Health Advice Please

Thread Starter

Ok, so I'm very unhealthy. I'm almost 17, 5' 11'', almost 300 lbs, but am very strong. I know I can still make a change for the better and that's why I'm here. I need help making good diet restrictions, exercise recommendations, and vitamin/mineral suggestions. I am always tired, and my lower back hurts. I don't eat too much junk food, and just stopped drinking soda. I work next to a specialty pharmacy that just opened and a farmers market. Anything will be helpful. Thanks

1) lose weight. (at least the weight of one small person)

2) you are not that strong. most guys over 250 have momentum in their favor so dont get that mixed up with 'strength'

3) see how you are after you make not drinking sodas an actual habit. you said you just started.

4) i dont know what your definition of 'dont eat too much junk food' is.

that to me means 'eating in n out twice a month. maybe a pizza once a month. if you mean not too much as 'eating only one meal a day in junk food, and a junk food snack after dinner' then that is way too much

5) search.

+1, start off by walking for a few months then as you lose some weight you can begin to jog.

Cut out all your junk food.

Start out with these:
Chicken, eggs, milk, almonds, vegetables, and lots of water. And don't eat fried stuff.

so the formula is
eating right + exercise = healthier you

yeah, because carrying an extra ~100lbs more than the average person around every waking hour doesn't build muscle mass.

this website probably isn't the best place to ask. go to a forum dedicated to healthy living/body building. actually, if you can afford it, consult a doctor/dietitian/personal trainer. they'll give you better advice than strangers on the internet.

You should be lucky; for someone like you, to get "in shape" is relatively easy and doesn't require too strict of a diet or too intense of an exercise regimen.

Why don't you just tell us what you typically eat and how active you are already? Then we can actually help you.

How about using the P90X set you are selling in your sig? Maybe this is really some form of creative spam...

Thank you. Was wondering why everyone was responding. The site also sells MAC and Bobby Brown makeup. WTF.
