Rinse your razor with alcohol when you are done using it. What causes the blades to dull is not your hairs chipping the edge, but rust caused by water left on the blade.
Fusion blades are stainless steel. No rust. Now you know.
+1. If you're willing to tackle the learning curve, DE razors provide an incredibly close shave with no irritation. And the blades are so cheap, they might as well be free.
I use the Schick Hydro 3, 5 blades are $6 and the razor was $8. Each blade lasts about 10-8 shaves then starts to get dull. It's a hell of allot easier to use then a DE, which I have with durby blades. It gives me a better shave then my DE and doesn't slice my face open when I make an error.

Hell yes. The blades are so cheap I bought a handmade Silvertip shaving brush from Germany, and usually buy the top tier shaving creams, and STILL come out way ahead of Gillette/foam users.
these think are getting out of control price wise. I buy the cheap throw aways and use them once or twice and start wit a new one.
