Gillette Fusion Razorblades...is there a deal?

I continue to be amazed at the high cost of these things. Even my local Costco is selling them for $41 for a 16 count.

Is there a good source for more reasonable prices or should I buy Gillette stock to hedge?

Yep.

I pay $30 for 100 blades for my DE and I get 4 shaves out of each. Cartridges are for people who hate money and their face!

$20 for 100 derbies, and they last me 7 shaves. Explaining to people how much I pay for blades when they try to give me crap for spending $60 on a razor...priceless.

What's a "DE"? Is thata "double edge" - the old school type of razor?

I'm not sure I would do well with a DE.

Any deals out there on Fusion blades?

I've never seen a better deal than Costco and they aren't cheap. But, they do last a long time, at least for me.

Personally, I miss the trac II razor and blades. They were easy to use and get in close around the nose, lip and edge of the ear. Fusions are good but too frik'n big. And, I don't need a pivitol head for a smooth shave. I actually get a better shave with a fixed head.

I don't miss DE blades. I used to get wicked cuts with them.

Straight razor users never have to buy blades. Just sayin'

watch walgreens and cvs and order coupons from ebay when they're on sale. I have about 50-60 fusion razors in my basement which I was able to a acquire for free. I am always picking up diapers (also on sale) so the extra stop isnt a hassle.

Dude, put the extras on B&S and AF and I will be all over it.

Rinse your razor with alcohol when you are done using it. What causes the blades to dull is not your hairs chipping the edge, but rust caused by water left on the blade. Also, if you really need four fucking blades, you should look into buying this:
