I decided a long time ago that we (humans) and what we do or think is so fucking incomprehensible and random that any attempt at explaining it is utter bullshit. We are random and dumb and cocky enough to say we think we know something when we all don't know shit.

If you ask the question, aren't you somewhat answering your question. I mean if you wish to do good and can continue on with that, then people CAN be good, and not evil.
