Summer Workout!

Hi everyone!
What workout are you doing this summer?
I am going to get in shape by doing the mens health spartacus workout!
i'm planning to do it 4 times a week. for one month, hehe
Hope fully it will work and ill be lean for the beach this summer!=)
Do you have any workout routines you are doing this summer that you would like to share?

During school its really hard to keep up a workout regimen, so I use the summer as a time to really get in shape. But mostly I'm going to do a lot of cardio (straight jogging and basketball) and the main ingredient is eating way healthier and drinking plenty of water. Not trying to bulk up or anything, just maintain a good body and hopefully get more defined stomach/abs.

Never understood the seasonal workout concept. If one does not have the discipline to stay in shape 9 months of the year, how will it be different for the summer months?

The seasonal workout concept is something you ask about if you are trying to promote your new blog site. You only have a handful of posts, but you do manage to get your signature to contain your URL for your blog.

bkstone, that was one of the thoughts behind my "snark". Hope you didn't think I was endorsing the idea!

Scrum, exactly. I really don't have respect for those who think they can magically "get in shape" for 3 months out of the year and slack off the other 9. Either stick with it or don't bother.

Hehe, I try my best to use the summer as efficiently as i can't to get back in shape. I heard from new research that doing a lot of cardio doesn't help too much with losing weight nor get the abs popping out. They suggested supersets with a full body workout routine. Thats why i'm doing the spartacus workout, it makes me sweat much more than an hour of basketball or cardio machines. Anyways, just a heads up

I guess because you have even more time on your hands and less things to think about. I had exams and projects at work these last 3 months, haven't been able to make it to the gym before it closes... so my workout routine has been on and off... and this summer my schedule is perfect for a 2 month workout plan! so yea... hence, the summer workout

and who said you slack of the other 9 months anyway??? i was referring to the specific workout you would do or are doing this summer to get that ''beach body''... nothing about slacking of the other seasons.
