They found a backer.

They reduced their Paris team massively, merged Y's and YY, now have only one PR girl to represent the whole Yohji brand in Paris etc etc.

Ah, that makes sense. Would be such a shame for one of the greatest designers ever to go under due to the recession(and I suppose spreading resources too thin.)

Thanks so much for the info!

rofl @ this thread I'm starting to notice a pattern that most of the "oh fuck yes, give me that weird fucking shit I'm gonna wear it" is coming from people who live in small towns in middle america, where they'd probably get shanked or lynched for wearing it.

I never would've thought i'd need to use the ignore option, but i'm seriously considering it with Moo.

It's not even in random fashion thoughts. It's in a thread specifically for appreciation of an avant-garde designer. I mean, what does he expect we're gonna say?

"O yes Moo you're so insightful, everyone who likes alternative styles is quite clearly from small towns. We should all stop dressing like this and go to conservative style. Hell, forget about dressing well, we should all just dress like Moo himself!"

Hmm, this isn't the case for myself or any of the two guys I posted (in fact none of US lives in America). I'm starting to think you are full of shit.
