What's the best way to get an asshole coworker fired?

Play endless practical jokes on him/her until they lose it and make an ass of themselves. Think Jim and Andy in the Office. No guarantee of success, but at least you'll enjoy the ride.

As in a hidden shell script that fucks with the permissions on their home folder. Working on it. I have the entire BOFH Ops Manual at my disposal.

practical jokes are best... that way they just hate work.

When you get a chance, always set her up with loaded questions in front of the people that matter... but don't look overbearing. If you're too aggressive, you may come across hostile then she wins. Pick topics she is not well versed in, or a topic which she has a misconception of the idea or goal then pounce. This can be tricky... may turn in to a duel of words

There's a good chance you'll be fired instead.

life is to short, don't get involved in fights in the office, unless your career is at stake. don't do it for emotional satisfaction.

Just what I was thinking.

I just heard a story told me by a friend, and I honestly don't know how accurate it is. he said that he had recieved warning from his company that they were investigating a claim against him by a subordinate. the claim comes down to him being pushy about the guy doing his work, ,and checking the subordinates expense reports "in a humiliating manner".

the employer is so adverse to lawsuits, that they seem to be negotiating with both individuals to leave the company with reasonable packages. it seems wild to me, but he says that there is aways a way to sue for a "hostile work enviroment". this seems hard for me to believe.

but you could try it.....
