I think this a publicity stunt. I don't believe a match takes that long. They are good enough to keep volleying to keep it going. This whole thing stinks to me.

Nah, Isner is an up-and-coming player ranked in the top 25. He is a legitimate contender and he's towards the beginning of his career. He wouldn't burn himself out like this on purpose. Playing as long as they did is how career-ending injuries happen.

i thought the same thing too until i saw the highlights on sportscenter. both guys were going hard late in the match and today even. hell they played 20 games today when there was a ton of hype yesterday.

Mahut was on Court 18 again playing doubles yesterday evening. He lost the first set 6-7 with Clement to Fleming and Skupski
