Jun Kuwana's Corthays? - Page 2

From what I`ve seen in the LAST magazine...

I believe those shoes are seperate shoes (the picture is just showing a couple variations in color). Basically, they are a special edition with a monogram feature...you get your initials on each toe...so depending on the monogram you choose, the toe initials would be personalized (so if your name was Style Forum, one foot would have S and the other F)

So maybe since 90%+ of this forum seems to be against monograms on dress shirts, these shoes won`t be so popular here! LOL

What do you think? Obviously he has a very similar pair at home (unless this was a special Christmas order).

According to the text, there are two choices in the personal order system. The first allows you to have the medallion made in the form of your favorite letters of the alphabet. Apparently Mr. Corthay himself has designed the representations of the 26 letters. The second allows you to place an order for a color combination that one normally does not find. Each choice requires an upcharge in price, but only 3 months after placing the order, one has a one of a kind pair of shoes.

Bengal Stripe is correct. I corresponded with Jun Kuwana, but, he was as elusive as Charley was with his Angels. I never saw him in person.
