So awesome. I love penguins. That being Japan though, I fear that someone will kidnap him and eat him for dinner, now that he's famous. Btw, where do you buy a penguin?

I wonder if they actually let it wander around like that. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did, but there are a crapload of wild cats around. Seems kinda dangerous.

Also, where does it swim?

I think it's big enough that a cat isn't going to try and attack it, no?

don't think they give them to people with a desire for penguin skinned accessories Blackheart: Mr. Simpson, I think you'll find this amount more than fair. Lisa: Dad, I think he's an ivory dealer! His boots are ivory, his hat is ivory, and I'm pretty sure that check is ivory. Homer: Lisa, a guy who's got lots of ivory is _less_ likely to hurt Stampy than a guy whose ivory supplies are low.

Depends. People abandon various types of pets to the street. Dogs, cats, Alligator Snapping Turtles, whatever gets too big that they feel they can't take care of it... it ends up roaming a park, or an alley. Not exactly penguin safe.

They're not exactly safe from predation in the wild either... I wonder if it's breath smells really bad or if he ***** everywhere?

This isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison, since in the wild they have both the advantages of numbers and environment over any potential predators. This penguin has a backpack full of fish, no way to escape a predator, and no help. I'm just saying, its kind of weird to let a pet go out on it's own in a big city, wander around like a person, etc. There are things that will kill it. Cars, another example.

Didn't watch it or read the posts because I wanted to guess. Is it that penguin from the UK that wears a custom wetsuit because it has a disease that makes it lose its feathers?
