Why must it be a ladies' phone if it has a mirror? Is it because it's red?

i think they look horribly contrived, especially the lower right, what would you call it? plasticky faux art-deco embellishments?

i have seen the centre one after a dew months of use and the fabric cover wears thredbare and gets grubby and scruffy. i know it's replaceable, but can anyone really be arsed?

i must admit i am most intrigued by the one on the left. i have unfortunately not seen one in the flesh, but understand it has no keypad, and you dial using the jog-wheel. i would like to see how effective a method this is has i love smal phones but hate small buttons.

vertu have the smartest looking phones, even platinum and diamond encrusted 'dress phones'. if you buy one though, you will look like jay-z

My wife had an SGH-105 (I think) for a while. We got rid of it. Mediocre reception plus the interface and phone were bolted down to the point that you could not do any of the nifty program transfers and backups you take for granted with even a lowly Series 40 Nokia.

No, you really shouldn't. They're horrid. JMHO, obviously. But I'm right.

The man is right. Got the Sony Ericsson K800i yesterday. It's seems very good, as far as I've figured it out, but not particularly elegantly designed, and quite bulky, compared to many others. I can't understand why they can't make them slimmer, say like one of the old pocket calculators.

I just got a very slim Blackberry 7130e from Verizon hich I really like. I can surf on the EVDO network and check email and type out a small message. Not as slim as a Razr but very functional.

Fits well in dress slacks and surprisingly comfy in my blue jeans. Also good in left pocket of my sportcoats.

A couple of phones

http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=1005 (though RAZRs are over played)
http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=970
http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=896 (motorola Q killer)

IM suprised noone mentioned phonescoop to look up phones. It's a great site to look at phones unreleased in the US ( if you were interested in unlocked GSM phones) and just phone reviews etc.
