Damn, Beck's bassist is hot: http://www.rhondasmith.com/

She must have replaced Australian Tal Wilkenfeld, who looked like Ellen Page (but even younger). http://www.talwilkenfeld.com/

Damn! We'll be in Door County, Wisconsin. Thanks for the props on the wedding pics, Monty. You'd love this story: After the ceremony, we had dinner at a local restaurant. In the dining room, this guy is playing piano...and his repertoire is pretty hip (e.g. "Desfinado", "A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square"). I go up to him after dinner and chat while he's playing. He tells me that he's originally from Hungary but gigged around L.A. for many years before moving to Sedona. He then tells me that John Pattitucci used to be his bass player and that Herbie stole Pattitucci away from him. I thought he was full of it until I bought one of his CDs for ten bucks - inside the liner notes is a photo of him in the 1980s with Pattitucci and Hancock, and the personnel on the recording was Pattitucci, L.A. tenor mainstay Bob Cooper and Bill Evans' drummer Joe La Barbara. A nice surprise for a jazz geek, but I kept new wife was waiting impatiently while I spoke with the guy! http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/stor...498491,00.html
