Where to get jewelry for SO

I'm going to get my girlfriend something and don't know where to start. Is Tiffanys good? I have heard stuff on here about it being a rip off and that there are much better values out there but I don't know where to start. Doing this for no reason in particular so price range is like 100-200ish. Any ideas and thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Didn't I answer this already

Yes, you can find similar Tiffany-like items cheaper in other places. But, take the two pieces of the same exact jewelry and put it one in a Zales box and another in a Tiffany box, and I guarantee you that your girl will have a very different reaction to the item in the Tiffany box. So you figure out whether that is overpriced or not.

tiffany is not a rip-off. yes, the prices are steep, but for the once in a while gift for the SO, if she hints at it, get it for her.
if it ll make her happy to enjoy a tiffany piece once in awhile, it is not a rip-off.

If you budget is <$200, hook her up with a Tiffany's key. You can get the sterling silver one and chain for a few bucks more. The Tiffany's box does something to women!

Solution: buy a Tiffany's box and put a zales inside it.

Except most everything from Tiffanys is stamped "Tiffany's!"

Wait until Conne accepts the job, no point in wearing your see through nightie and offering him some Tiffany bling before he takes the step forward.

overstock.com

Thank me later...

Tiffany is a good place to check out some pretty quality jewelry which is helpful to gauge other pieces you see against as the prices are a bit inflated. However women like designer things...

Absolutely +1. Sure, some will say Tiffs is overpriced. But women will swoon over it and gifts from there are especially effective if you are just looking in that $100-200 range. Any of the choices around $200 for sterling silver rings, necklaces, etc. will do the trick. They will all be stamped with "Tiffany & Co." and THAT is the magic touch for les dames.

www.bluenile.com maybe? Not sure if they have stuff in that range though.
