If I was in TB#2, I would totally just set fire to it, video record its' destruction.
I think WRAdvisor is the last one to get the box rimshot.gif

You probably saw the tattered TSB2 box from a few weeks back. They should have just kept that one going.

Well, it's only been Malford and Ich_Dien so far... So thanks to them it seems great!

Hopefully we can keep it going that way...

Ah, then it should be no surprise that the quality of the ties was so great.

Looking forward...a few of you guys have talked about a "virtual" tie swap. What exactly does this entail?

I envision it as something where each person posts a picture of a tie that they are willing to part with, (we can maybe establish mutually agreeable guidelines for acceptable, SF approved ties), then we "randomize" an order and each person ships their tie to their randomized recipient. This way, each person has seen the ties available but doesn't know which one he will receive.

And it should take just a few days for the entire thing to be completed since we're all just mailing one tie to one recipient. Does this make sense or jive with others' ideas of a virtual swap? Or did I eat the wrong brownie at lunch?

I am not giving up on TSB1, but let's face it, with the upcoming holidays/travel/shitty weather/busy USPS and what not, this thing is going to take FOREVAR!

My thought was start a thread where people post pics of what they want to trade, front and back; could be one tie or several. You see something you like and PM the person and ask if they like anything you have posted. If yes, then swap takes place and both parties hopefully are happy.

The bonus to this is the number of participants could be limitless.

Of coarse the more ties you offer up for trade, the greater chance that you would have in making a deal.

this was what i was thinking for a "virtual swap box" as well
and the beauty of it is.. if you put up a highly desirable tie (say a panta or a drake)
then you will get a lot of offers from people who want to trade you for it
so you can have your pick

this will automatically encourage people to put up their nicer ties since the crappy ones will not get any love
the market forces will regulate the box

You know, at first I really didn't like the idea of the virtual box. But now, I'm liking it more and more.

This can be accomplished in the B/S section with a Trade tag on your listing. I'm surprised nobody has done this yet quite frankly.
