Tie Swap-Box Idea - Page 47

While it's not obligatory, I think the general gist is to pay the Tie Box forward with something(s) of equal or greater value.

The only thing that I am confused about - other that Titsworth's Einstein's Riddle-like TSB2 proposal - is that through five people there are only six ties if I am counting correctly -and that should include Ed's seed and Wang's seed. My thinking is that the inventory should grow or at the very least stay the same if it's one in, one out, right? Am I missing something?

People added pocket squares as well in lieu of adding a tie.

Still not sure on the math though.

I took a Panta and a Dolce & Gabbana, and added a NWT Kiton and a Hermes, plus a bunch of squares.

3/5 of those were ghost once I got teh box

Ahh, pocket squares! I forgot about pocket squares. And in all it does sound like the box has grown. I think my math is just bad.

+1. When I got the box there were 6 plus one PS. I'm going to take 1 and beef it up with at least 3, as well as Kent Wang's contribution. If we all try to replace the number we take with the same number in equal value, and maybe add a donation of something else of decent quality, than we can all expect a great box next time.

No offense but I think the pocket squares should be kept separate. Not everyone that wears a tie wears a PS.

There were 5 ties when I got it. Picture posted earlier, I left out the PS. Added a worn once T&A and a NWT RLBL.

I think all this constructive feedback will make good fodder if we decide to do this again.

I am both surprised at the number of ties and the quality/styles left. Anyway, I just sent two more ties to DerekS's trailer park, he claimed he was putting in a Charvet or something, that plus what Kent is putting in should bring the box closer to 10 and hopefully give some more options to pick from.

Was thinking about throwing in a couple (or more if I take out more than one tie). Basically it would be nice to build a nice big selection of ties if this box should continue on.

Possible additions to box from my end may include Charvet, Emma Willis, & Drakes. (Not From My B&S Listing, But rather from personal collection)

This is my thought. I would like to see this go around more than once. So let's really build it up now so next time will be better.

exactly. once this gets around to everyone and we all have a chance to seed it, round 2 will be fucking great. If most people put in more than they take out, and round 2 slows down a bit, or more people get involved, this could really be epic.
