Georgian Design

Does anyone have any good book or website recommendations for Georgian interior design. The house is listed (Grade 2) so no alterations to the exterior are possible.

Couldn't resist.

Sorry, carry on.

The Georgian Group is a good place to start I'd think: http://www.georgiangroup.org.uk/docs/home/index.php

I would recommend two books:

Colonial Style by Treena Crochet
Get Your House Right by Cusato, et. al.

The second one is largely exteriors, but is such a great book I can't imagine not having it, and does include a fair bit of interior detailing too.

The first is probably the best of the "colonial picture book" style house books. Very helpful, shows good and bad, right and wrong.

HTH.

Edit - I just realized you're in London - these are largely focused on American Georgian design. Much is the same, some will be different. Sorry if it's not what you need...

Thanks I've just bought "The Georgian Group Book of the Georgian House" by Steven Parissien but good though it is, it is a dry educational book rather than an style ideas book.
