I'm not sure if I could call Meatloaf's "I would Do Anything for Love [But I Won't Do That]" a love song, per se. Hell, I'm not sure what the fuck to call it. A power ballad?

Whatever the case, it's probably the best song of all time, and anyone who disagrees with me has no taste in music and no class whatsoever.

If I thought about it for longer I might come up with something different, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread was:

Ugh, I hate both of those songs. All the popular Who/Townsend songs pretty much suck, despite the band rocking really hard on a couple of their albums (Live at Leeds for one).

how about something more recent, but just as fucking cheeezzy:

Way Back into Love - Music and Lyrics (movie)

I was watching this movie and then this song ended it... it was so cheezy and corny i almost walked out. but damn i have to admit that the song is super catchy and actually pretty good.

I do love me some Taylor Swift. Excellent production and good texture for a pop song.

Also, not really a love song but i like Torn by Natalie Imbruglia.

O, umm that Letters to Cleo version of I Want You to Want Me too.

Shit this list is getting embarrassingly long.
