that was honestly one of hte best films pixar has ever made i was expecting some cash cow 3rd movie like shrek or pirates of the carribean or what have you, but wow that was really good. wish i watched it in 3d now the humor, the plot, the suspense, the dialogue, everything was really good and watchable for a really really wide audience. i'd say it's up there with nemo and ratatouille. the last 15 minutes and the ending were some of the best most welll thought out ones i've seen. the short film was also really good

Yeah, heard it was great. I saw the first one when I was a kid... didn't expect to wait 15 years for the third one.

Yeah it has like 100% on RT from like 150+ reviews. I wanted to watch it to begin with anyways.

It is simply outstanding. A great storyline and the usual A+ animation.

should i watch 1 and 2 beforehand?

watched it with my kid.... the landfill scene was particularly outstanding. this is 1000x better than the 2nd movie. though my kid feels terrible that bo peep isn't part of the movie anymore. btw- ken (as in barbie's ken) seems like an sf member to me.

there are some jokes you might not get if you dont watch 1 and 2, but nothing too huge. mmm actually you might not get the claw part, but still no biggie

Well, great. Glad to hear they didn't ruin the franchise. One of the all time greats. (Jim Varney, RIP.) Can't wait to see it. I hear the 3D is great too - immersive without being overpowering.

seing i watched 1 and 2 when i was a kid, (i've grown up slightly but not much) i cant wait to see it.
i also played Toy story 2 on Playstation which was great, so i ran out and got No. 3 when it was released on the 17th, its better than 2 by a mile, super super good stuff!

i remember one reviewer compared a scene from the movie to the holocaust so i knew i had to see it, and it's definitely darker and emotionally heavier than the first two but i agree that it's one of pixar's best. a fantastic movie with a really satisfying ending. if you tear up a little it's cool edit: day and night was awful though

My youngest has informed me she's too old to go see it, so I suppose I'll wait until it comes out on DVD. Pity.

RubeBabe IV and I saw it Friday night on Ultrascreen. (3d was sold out) Excellent movie. RBIV and I both teared up a little.

I don't think I'll cry anything now cause everyone is saying how they all teared up. Maybe I shouldn't have read reviews.
