^ The purpose of this thread is to make it easier for people to find non-baller shoes and boots instead of sifting though 100 pages of discussion about shoes and boots which includes both >$300 and <$300 shoes.

This is a great idea.

LOL, where did you come up with the magic $300 number? Maybe we could just have multiple threads for boots and shoes with $20 price point increments so lazy people don't have to search as much.
I just used the number from the sneaker threads in which baller is defined as more than $300 ((though it may have been tongue in cheek)). This thread has a purpose and isn't some sort of special flower clutter. Y u hatin?

Because it's redundant and ultimately isn't going to help anyone.

I think a thread about shoes that are affordable isn't redundant at all, and it will help people who are looking for affordable shoes. I also think that you're being insufferable.

Anyone else really dislike the term SF-approved?

Kudos for the thread, Robbie. I endorse the Clarks DBs, Sperry A/O boat shoes, and Bass Bucks options. Weejuns are good too.

Beyond that, a guy shouldn't have a closet full of shoes like the wife of a southeast pacific ocean country's president. It just ain't right.
