This thread is win.
Is it possible for anyone to start a thread about their pet project without getting flamed?

If you're making a good product, you will get good feedback. And if you make a bad/unmarketable product, you will get poor feedback.

Moreso if you quote some Uncontrol posts and then act like they are in earnest.

Yo OP, I could use some cash, so I'll go in halfsies with you on this one, but first you have to tell me what the individual draw of this product is, and how we could make it make us money.

Meh, it's all the same "acorn"/"nature" embossed patterns, boring and ubiquitous. I find that for good embossing you have to look for vintage 70s and 80s belts. I like this:

Your product has quality control issues, you can't present yourself professionally on an Internet thread (how would you act in front of investors or buyers?) and your pitch is weak (how are you different to the million other brands that do exactly the same thing? What's your story, positioning, etc? What are your past successes? What is your plan - sell 10 at a local market, or a billion all over the world? A partner may be able to help you develop this, but to be compelling there has to be an authentic story to build on).

If you want to find and get chosen by a partner who will make your business a success (rather than just some loser with nothing better to do than work on building your brand for free), you need to have damn good answers to these questions.

The wrong choice of partner will destroy your business, and the people who are the right choice already have a dozen options to choose from, not including their personal projects and ideas. Why should they pick you to work with?

I eagerly await dude's reply to this post.

I just want to say that they both were acutally contributing to the forum before they tried to sell us their stuff- and knew what they were doing.
