750 square feet, 1 bedroom. A lot of wasted space by myself.

divided studio (separated sleeping area by a wall). 456 square feet. it forces me to minimize.

I think there's a big difference between apartment and condo. With an apartment there's no point to have more space than what you immediately need since it's easy to move. But if I bought a condo I would get something big enough such that I wouldn't have to move until I had kids going to school, since buying/selling property is such a pain in the ass.

650 down from 1000 in montreal. Price is hundreds higher. It's a decent amount of space. My current furniture doesn't allow the best use of it but i'm going to make do since I will either move out of the country in 2-3 years or buy something. The important thing is that I have a big wall with no obstructions that i can project 104" of HD goodness onto.

I totally agree with this. When I first moved in to the place that I am living in currently, I got a really good deal on rent. But my living room is basically empty with a table, and I am barely home.

911 sq ft. Originally a 1-bedroom + solarium but I removed the partions that created the solarium to make a larger bedroom.

1 bed, 1 bath, about 730 sq ft. just me right now, but the lady as well in the next month or two. i'd say it's about the perfect size. maybe another 100 sq ft would do it. or a garage.

1 bed, 1 bath, about 770 sqft. Large kitchen/living area at the expense of the bedroom (I don't mind since I'm by myself so I just spend all my time on the couch) and tons of storage space (hallway wall is lined with huge cabinets; bedroom closet is a 4x6 walk-in). Only complaint is a weird ~75sqft alcove near the front door...don't really know what to do with it. Am thinking of putting a bookshelf, chair and my guitars on stands there and making it a reading/music-ish room. Big windows, high ceilings, corner unit.
