I know a lot of you are experts in various fields, and also big-timers, so I'm sure someone has experience buying sapphires.
I'm in the market for a pink sapphire or a good padparadscha. I know that many of them are heat-treated, particularly the larger ones, and I don't think that bothers me unless someone tells me otherwise.
I also know that buying diamonds anywhere other than Blue Nile is kind of a waste of time. But Blue Nile doesn't have sapphires - are there other reputable sites for these sorts of stones that can give me a nice, clean stone I can buy on the specs, along with a bona fide GIA cert?
I've found The Natural Sapphire Company online and they look decent, but I'm not sure how good their certs are or much about the quality of their cuts. None of their padparadschas are speaking to me either.
