As much as I love supplements, choking down a potassium gluconate tablet would be torture lol. How about eating broccoli or a banana

You say you can get a boost in testosterone from doing any other compound exercise. I'm guessing that you understand that the greatest gains, and consequently the biggest boost in testosterone, come from pushing the heaviest weight and using the largest amount of muscle mass possible. There is no exercise that works more muscle mass than the squat and deadlift.

There is a reason that people call squats the king of all lifts. So suck it up, and put your ass to the grass (for squatting )

How's that subscription to Mens' Health Magazine working out for you?

pretty well, thanks. Although I don't subscribe, I read online articles and occasionally browse the forum. I used their advice to help me lower my body weight from 175 to 165lbs, and increase my bench press max from 175 to 215. My squats and deadlifts are pretty weak because I, like the OP, neglected to work out legs until a few months ago.

Sarcasm? Because this seems like fairly sound (though cliche) advice.

It's a common statement, but there is evidence it does and doesn't happen.

Anecdotally, my girlfriend likes me the most when I come back from squat day. It certainly feels like I've got more juice flowing. XD

Solution: Don't be the guy who does oly bar curls. Just use ez or 3/4 bars like everyone else.
