When will you finally admit that the OneShoe is in fact a single pair, not 5.

Well, in a sense, they are a single pair.

Since you've lawyered it up, let me rephrase: how many pairs of single sole Plaza last Alden shell cord longwings do you have? Multiple choice:

a) 1
b) 5
c)

I like the one shoe, its simple, uncomplicated. A real dandy would despise the oneshoe, but a real dandy is too fancy to be well dressed.

I think I could do the 'oneshoe' in Darlton Cordovan loafers, aside from the budget required.

I've applied this concept in a loose format to my wardrobe as a whole and found it a substantial improvement.

Narrowing the variety of cuts for clothing pieces (suit, shirt, jacket, pants), narrowing the amount of patterns, ect has been helpful.

Not only that but also finding that trying to cram 3-4 patterns and other elements like tie bars and collar pins was a bad idea and looks too studied even if they do work well together.

For God's sake, if you're going to rock OneShoe, at least make it something more respectable than FoofWing - a tremendous bore of a shoe if ever I have seen one.

The amount OneShoe has been disscused here is just unbeliveable! It is as if every new person who finds out about it has something to say. This is just how Foo rolls! Sure it is not the most elegant shoe in the world but thats just how Foo likes to do things. I think it works well with the tweed and flannels.

Thank you, sir. Not everything needs to be laser slick!

Foo's OP made me feel kind of rueful. I just wish I could occasionally cross paths with men who had the faintest idea of what "Brioni" or "Kiton" even meant! In my dismal world, Rockports are regarded as high-end shoes and Nordstrom as the very citadel of extravagant masculine elegance!

I don't let the back blade show anymore. But while I wear my buttondowns much less frequently with ties than my spread collar shirts now, I still don't mind leaving the collars unbuttoned. That said, I think I'd like to tweak my OCBD collars a bit.

I like the fact that your rolling with spread collars more now. I always thought they looked much sharper than the buttondowns, what with them being bespoke (the pics that are famously are NOT on Tweed in the City. When there are questions regarding that sweet sweet old world garbadine to answer, who can blame you?)

Well, got to give it to Foo. If anything, he is consistent.
