Are you in a quarter-life crisis? - Page 6

Most young men a hundred or a thousand years ago didn't much make it past 27. Think disease and violent death. You are merely hitting a bump in the road of life that is really some kind of biological Rubicon. It's a number that's marked in our DNA. Get past it and the rest is cake. I hope.

This. My SF persona is priceless.

I'm not really good at maintaining friendships and most of my friends are from groups I'm involved with and I'm just kind of tired with them and the people. Been heavily involved for seven years I guess it is natural. I'm really just more upset about things on the lady-front. Met someone fantastic, really got a this is the one feeling, but now we are in a kind of limbo. We've both got personal stuff we have to deal with ATM. Two incomplete people coming together won't work at that time, no matter how perfect you are for each other and if there is an attraction and connection on just about every level. Still could work with me and her though and probably will, which is why it is frustrating.
