Yet Another Hairstyle Thread

I'm really picky about my hair. I've searched far and wide before being fortunate enough to find that my friend who is a hair stylist is the only person that I've ever had cut my hair where I find it acceptable (sort of off topic but is $45 for a haircut expensive to you guys?). So now that I've found someone that knows what to do with my hair, I'm on a quest to find a hairstyle that actually works really well for me.

Now, girls always compliment me on my hair. I think the hairstyle I have right now looks decent, but that it could be better. Moreover, I end up going to get it cut about every two months, and so when I get it cut it's pretty short and takes a bit to really grow into it. So I'm struggling with going for monthly cuts but that's a pretty big cost. Anyways, returning to the topic at hand, here's some photos of me (I'll post a few so you can see what it looks like at different lengths):









The last photo I believe was a week or two after I got it cut, whereas the others are obviously longer. I just found this photo:



I don't know who this is but it looks like a look I think would look really good on me. What do you guys think? I'm basically looking for something that's low maintenance and doesn't involve a ton of product. Any tips or suggestions would really be appreciated. Any other photos of this kind of hairstyle would really help me, too.

Hahaha only had it for a week just for the experience. I got a ton of compliments on it though, which was really surprising. What about the hairstyle in the last photo? I think I could pull it off but I'd prob need some more photos to show my stylist.

I've been able to replicate that look in some instances so I think it depends on how I get it cut and the product I use.

But I'm open to any suggestions you'd have.


Yeah I should ask her about that, she used to cut my hair for free but the place that she works at now doesn't let her do anything like that. I'll see about something like this; thanks for the tip!
