Dictation software / MacSpeech?

Hello all,

I am looking for a dictation software. I use a mac at home - has anyone used MacSpeech? Feedback?

Too bad Dragon doesn't have a mac version. I thought about getting a netbook anyway, so perhaps I could load Dragon on it but I have been told that netbooks are on their way out.....

Any advice you have would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I can't speak for Mac, but if you do get a Windows system running then Dragon is epic. I've done an entire degree with dictation, probably pushing 100,000 words dictated so far. The best system I've ever used.

I see. Thanks! I could always give MacSpeech a try for my mac desktop, but I think I will go for Dragon *if* I get a netbook. However, people keep telling me ipad or ipad-like devices will soon make them obselete so I am not quite sure what to do yet. I am not interested in getting first generation ipad though.
