Oh Lord have mercy. He's got to be a miserable human being.

Mel's moving up on the "Which cinema superstar is most likely to go postal?" charts.

Anyone else think he should just be given a pass for all this b/c of Braveheart?

well, SHE made the tape afterall and therefore obviously was looking for his worst possible reaction. One should therefore be curious as to whether she intentionally provoked the worst possible verbal abuse with words of her own that curiously didn't make it on the tape.

Frankly, whether Mel Gibson is a racist, anti-semite and general bad actor off-screen is a matter of indifference to me.

I hate him because he has become the worst goddamn ham actor in contemporary cinema. I don't know when I ever hated a movie as much as "Braveheart" (at least one I expected to like).

edge of darkness is a solid movie, especially the scattered scenes with women/surrogate daughters, but was indeed defiled periodically by the maudlin gibson
