I'd opt for a mouse with more ergonomics. Sure, the Magic Mouse looks great and all, but if I were to use it every day for longer periods of time, I couldn't take it. I'm using a Logitech MX Revolution at home. Big and nice - but the reciever is on the large end of the scale and you need to charge it with the supplied charger. I also have a Logitech VX Nano for travel and my MBP. A lot smaller, but great ergonomics and the USB reciever is really small. Great for travel, comes with a nice pouch and looks great next to the black and silver MBP. Seems like they changed the names though, but here's the small one: http://www.logitech.com/no-no/mice_p...e/devices/5846 and the large one: http://www.logitech.com/no-no/mice_p...e/devices/5845 Looks like the larger one comes with one of those nano recievers as well now, so it's up to you which one you want. I'd probably get both though, one for the road and one for home.

+1. The Logitech wireless mice are very nice.

I use Logitech Wireless Mouse M505. It is a good choice for anyone using Logitech's Unifying USB transceiver, which also works with some of the company's keyboards, but it's priced a bit high considering its limited button layout.

i study to be an architect and this would be my advice.

get a digitizer in a decent size. wacom or something in at least a4 size. you would want to be able to have the movements 1:1 to the screen.

and a magic mouse to relieve the wrist once in a while.

Microsoft makes great Bluetooth keyboard and mouse combos. Your Mac won't explode.

I use a wireless microsoft laser mouse.

Logitech recently came out with some nice ones that use a tiny USB for the wireless connection.

Almost every mouse on the market today uses one of those nano transceivers (tiny USB things) so just about anything would work.

I really love the sleek design, small footprint, and ergonomic usability of the Kensington Slim Blade wireless mouse. http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Sli...8550807&sr=8-2 It's surprisingly a lot more comfortable than it looks, even in my oversized manpaws. And yes, it uses one of those "tiny USB" receivers, which I believe are now pretty much standard-issue on most wireless mice (thank God). Another huge plus for the Slim Blade is that, for whatever reason, it works on almost any surface. A lot of laser mice don't, but this one does. It's not fussy whatsoever about wood, plastic, marble, leather, paper, silicone, or whatever surface materials and requires no mousepad in 99% of scenarios.

I like Logitech's VX mouse. A bit pricey but I like the feel of it.
