WTB: Your used iPhone 3GS

My phone's battery life is dead, but it is not the battery, it's something to do with the circuitry. I need another 3GS.

I am sure some of you guys are looking at purchasing an iPhone 4, in which case you will not have much use for your old one.

I am looking for a reasonable price given that it is an old phone now. Make me an offer. Only qualification is that the phone must be in decent shape and must have full battery life. That's the whole reason I want another one.

Take it into your nearest apple store. Here in Australia its a $260 replacement.

How much are you willing to pay? I've had mine since December. It's unlocked and jailbroken with blackra1n, so tethered jailbreak. But I could restore it back to factory settings.

Keep in mind this phone was 200.00 plus a 2 year contract in December.

I am willing to pay 200 at most. Jailbreak doesn't matter, I would wipe and rebreak b/c now all v3.x are untethered jb.

You can get a brand new one under the replacement scheme for about $230.

Interesting. Thanks for letting me know! Do you know if they will allow exchanges for iPhones with slightly cracked screens, or is that going to trigger the crazy-high "Replacement Value" fee?

Well in Australia when I replaced my it was all good so long as I had basically 51% of the phone, so I guess a cracked screen will be a simple replacement.

Yeah, it is a simple replacement but you just never know with Apple. But I will do this - thanks.
