I always wonder what the managers actually say to the umpires during an argument...now we know.

This clip is hilarious:

Wow.

After 2 (possibly questionable) strike calls, after a ball the hitter barely looks back at the umpire. Doesn't say anything.

And gets thrown out.

Then we get a barrage that makes me want to rent "Major League" from netflix.

I just love how nonchalantly/casually he goes down the checklist of 'crazy manager things'. 1) get in umpire's face...check 2) kick dirt on plate...check 3) throw objects on field...check 4) ask player out for beer...check

Awesome. What's the point of kicking dirt on home plate?

Man, I'm so happy this guy is coaching in the Mets org right now. If he ever ends up coaching the big league team, I'll be in heaven.

I always felt this is the managers way of telling the umpire that his calls are so bad you may as well just cover the plate because your not looking at it(to determine balls & strikes). It could also be an excuse to watch the ump pull out that cute little brush they have to clean off the plate.

I believe he had a job with Arizona at one time...I don't think he hung on too long there. I seem to remember something like that.

I think he was hired and fired before he ever coached a game because they discovered a DUI or something random on his record. Supposedly he is an excellent baseball mind that players love playing for.

Yes, this is true. I remember Bachman did something, but I think it was a bit more serious i.e. beat his wife or something like that. Baseball is so hypocritical.

I love how he warned the opposing catcher to get out of the way hahaha.

The best part is his huffing and puffing afterwards from tossing around a few bats and balls.

Reminds me of the good old days watching Lou Piniella go nuts on the field.
