Sizng/Fitting for Buzz Rickson Loopwheel Sweatshirts?

I need some help with sizing. I feel like I'm in between sizes based on SE size chart, but not sure if these are meant to fit snug or oversized.

I'm 5'10, 185lbs, with an athletic build. I wear BoO L and EG, WWM in Medium. Any help?

I don't know if this helps...
I'm 5'11", 190 lbs, athletic build (larger chest/shoulders)
BoO XXL or XL, EG L, WWM L
I got an XL in my Buzz Rickson sweatshirt and it fits great...a LITTLE on the short side but I was told they were meant to have that look.

random Q...how do you wear a L in both BoO AND EG? They are sized so differently!

yeah, they are meant to be short and hugging. im a medium in buzz rickson sweatshirts, 5'6 130pds for ref.
hope that helps

btw, your height and weight is very similar to mine, but you wear a full size bigger. i like my stuff relatively fitted...is yours more relaxed?

Hate to dig up this old thread, but I thought it'd be better than creating a new one.

I'm 6' 1", 160 lbs, I typically wear Mediums all around, would I be getting a large? I think I tried one on and the sleeves seemed a bit short, does the sweater tend to shrink?

Get the large. The sleeves are meant to be short. It'll shrink a tiny bit then stretch back after you wear it.

Ok cool, just wanted to make sure; does anyone know how the MA-1's fit?

lol, i think you would be okay with a medium. im 5'11" 180 lbs and i wear a large but mine is slim. and these do tend to stretch out after a few wears.

I'm like 5'7.5 feet ~178 pounds with a fairly large chest and a size 40 long in the gibson ma-1 was pretty good for layering purposes. I fit into a size 38 long, but I decided to stick with the 40L because the pockets were more ergonomic for hand in pocket purposes. The angle on my wrists/forearms on the 38L was uncomfortable (Pockets were too high up).

Hrm, I'll look into a large one! I'm thinking of picking one up off Rakuten. Any fit pics?

I remember trying on the 40L thinking it was a bit snug even though I wear a 40 in most jackets, etc. However, I did try on the jacket with a loopwheel sweater underneath. I think the 42L could be good too?

XL for sure

XL will be a loose and comfortable fit, L will be snug and fitted. I have the same build as the OP and I've tried both.
