A G Martin-Stone on the Edgware Road, London had those Cheaney monks in brown suede under their own brand name @£125.

Shame that they are closing down.

The blue monks are 100% Cheaney. In my most recent post on my blog I have taken pics of the new line and have provided some background info such as new manufacturers and prices. Enjoy.

I got the same monks from this guy as well, outside of the ebay tractor beam.

Spoo, call me when you are in town so we can wear them at the same time!

Hai necrothread After a year of wearing them (sporatically) I have to say they have held up pretty well. I got caught in a hurricane in them and they were literally underwater as I tried to run to my car, so the leather bubbled and had a few kinks, but they are in really solid shape and still look great.

Any further update cousin? I was searching for who the maker of G&H shoes were and lo and behold I find this thread with the very navy monks I'm considering. How do they work size-wise? Also, I have never been a fan of munx but I think I may could get behind these navy ones.

Thanks

They were great shoos... but I wound up selling them just because I didn't reach for blue shoes that often any longer. But sizing was spot on accurate, and they were extremely comfy.

Wow. Someone bought them after the Katrina incident? :snicker:

I was on teh fence but came back to reality regarding munx. Maybe if EG wont make me teh Brummells in navy I might bite. But I'm not feeling the Ascot Shoes dude.
