Look up Thurston Moore. Not short, but shorter

How short are we talking? Most very short styles won't work for you. You have a long face, so you want a hairstyle with hair on the sides, your hairline obscured, and some volume to offset that. willpower's suggestion is pretty spot on.

Yeah I know what you mean, maybe when i can grow more facial hair i can pull off better "shorter" hair cuts, have had bangs and sides forever was hoping for a good look but super easy to maintain, maybe I'm asking for too much. Thank you though.

Enjoy your long hair while you're young. Soon enough you'll be in your mid-30s and have to be "presentable" for work, or your hair will start to fall out (or both).

Facial hair will definitely help you pull off a shorter cut. The most important part is to keep your hairline obscured somehow.

How thick is your hair?

I mean this is what I look like with bangs, I'm just tired of it. That's why I need help to find the perfect short hair cut.

Off topic, but does anybody else think that very short, buzzed hair makes one look "buffer", for lack of a better word? I just buzzed mine and noticed that I looked more muscular, IMO. IDK, just a thought.

not buffer, just more "manly". I think longer hair softens details such as a big nose, heavy brow and square jaw, and when you cut it short those details become very obvious.
