Do you keep your shoes in shoe bags? - Page 3

I only lay the bag on top of my shoes to keep the dust off.

Yes, shoes in the shoe bags, suits in garmet bags, sweaters in sweater bags, food in zip lock bags, lunch in lunch bags, sleeping kids in kid sleeping bags, dogs in doggy bags, hands in handbags, messengers in messerger bags, wife's head in brown paper bag, girl friend in money bag, and ex-wife in body bag. Keeps everything in its place and not getting dirty

Bags. Boxed. Seems a shame

For travel only. I've thrown out almost every pair of shoe bags (and boxes). If I have even 3 pair of bags left here I would be suprised. All purged before joining SF. Today I would have kept it all (even though I still won't use them) as resale perks.
I am suprised to read several members are using their shoe bags for polishing purposes when an old undershirt or T-shirt will do just as good.

I bag all my dress shoes and keep them in boxes. Rugged boots (i.e. Alden Indy, Trickers) I keep on the shelf without box or bags.
