Recommendation for tailors in toronto?

I just began my search so I don't really know much other than a few big guys the like of Stavros, Perry's, Harry Rosen, and Beauchamp. Nevertheless my limited knowledge: in regards to alteration I've been told that Luigi Stornelli is one of the best in town, although I've never tried him yet. Another possibility for quality/value was Frank (Franco) Benni although I'm sceptical about him. I ordered a few pairs of trousers from him a year and a half ago, CAD $85 each for the labour. The first one was decent but the second and the third ones were sloppily done. I'm pretty sure that the second and third trousers were not made by the same person who made the first, though. But this is what bugged me the most, I brought him my own Bemberg lining but the pants were lined by some substandard, cheap stuff instead. When I asked him why he told me that my lining was for suiting and not suitable for trousers because they would shrink; at that time I was already taken aback by his explanation but didn't know any better, now it sounds absolutely ridiculous and bordering on dishonesty. Nonetheless, recently I was referred again to him by the owner of LeFirme and I am thinking of getting in touch again with him to see what the option is. Note that I am attracted mainly for the value consideration. Any further comment on him and his works would be much appreciated. Everyone's opinion and suggestion would be more than welcome, please feel free to post your thought, or would appreciate if you could message me privately if you want to be discrete. Many thanks and best regards.

That Franco Benni guy sounds like a crook.
