So, up until a week ago I could browse a map using the google maps app when I had an Internet connection active, then look at it later without any internet, just without the ability to zoom. Doesn't work anymore

; everytime I open the app now it reloads the map. No software/setting changes. Anyone else experience this?

No. It's not been officially announced That it's coming. Its just that all the previous iPhone releases are in June or July, so bank on that.

Yup, it's looking like a solid rumor too with everyone reporting it from multiple sources. Looks like Apple might actually break the cycle of iPhone hardware in the summer and hold off on iPhone 5 till this fall.

It's actually a smart move if you think about it. Lets them release it closer to the holiday buying season. Additionally, it helps keep any competition from coming out and looking newer or better in the short time between release and Xmas.

Only negative I can think of is they would be releasing so much new hardware at once (iPhones, iPod Touches, Nano's, etc) that it could make some of the lesser products get over shadowed.
