The new phone also has a bigger battery and more efficient processor, so battery life, which is a big issue for current iPhones, should be better.

Good thing I qualify for an upgrade cause im all over this. I always liked the Iphone but despised the look of the 3G and 3GS

did the previous 3gs have wireless n as well? I think shooting videos and a flash for the camera are also biggies aside from the screen rez, chip upgrade, thinness, and video conferencing.

i can't imagine what else a phone will offer until we move to 4g networks and even then...seriously what else aside from upgrades of the components?

I'll be getting the EVO once I get back from a month tour abroad.

Evo:

4G
Video Calling over 3G/4G
Presumably Easier Tweaking
Removeable Storage and Battery
Presumably Better Camera/Flash (two LEDs for the flash)
No iTunes
No iTard

iP4:

Thinner and smaller
Higher res screen
Video Editing

I doubt the iP4 will be able to take advantage of 802.11n due to device/memory lag.

Honestly, I really wish that HPalm would come out with a new device asap, as WebOS pwns both Android and iPhone OS in many ways; i.e. great multitasking and universal search. I also really like the touchstone inductive charging and a physical keyboard. Alas, there's no news of a new WebOS device and my Pre is feeling slightly dated compared with the EVO.

Even better, it's 326dpi. If they use that res for the next iPad, it will make a much better e-reader. The iAds thing doesn't bode well, imo.
