Get it.

I agree. It's the best phone I have had by far. Web surfing on the Verizon network is at least 3X the speed of my wife's iPhone which is on AT&T.

I heard it's faster, but I don't know about 3X. You must be in a bad area for ATT's network.

Mine is faster than all my friends' verizons, I get 2-3 mbps d/l and around 1.5 u/l.

MY ATT iphone 3gs is faster than a buddy's verizon iphone4 sitting right next to each other.

If there is any speed difference I am sure it's not that big of a deal. The thing I could never give up is simultaneous voice and data. I use that all the time and if I switched to Verizon I would have to give it up.

I use that more than anything, would be stupid to not have it.

With iPhone 4 on both networks, my AT&T connection is much faster than friends' Verizon connection. Download the Speed Test app to check it out. I get 2800ish kbits/sec download, 600-700 kbps upload in Southern California, and have seen as high as 3965/1272 in Gilroy, all over the cell network. --Andre

Yes at least 3x here in Atlanta. Maybe since we have so many ATT customers from the old BellSouth.

Got mine at launch and am still amazed by its functionality. Frankly, I think email access should be as common in phones as SMS, there's almost no reason not to have this feature nowadays. Until work forces me to use a Blackberry, I'll stick with future iterations of the iPhone.

Just downloaded NBA Jam. It is $.99 for this weekend!
